Start with what you’re seeing, not the brand
You’ve opened the door to unload and there’s a grey puddle under the bottom rack. Or it hums for half a minute, beeps, and shows a code you’ve never seen. Dishwashers hide everything behind a closed door, so owners rarely know what’s wrong.
A dishwasher only does five things, lock, fill, heat, spray and drain, and each job has one part that does most of the failing. Those parts fill our dishwasher parts range; the table takes you from symptom to part. Clean the filter and spray arms first; it’s free and clears more “faults” than anything on this page.

Five minutes before you order anything
- Filter and sump. Twist out the cylinder filter, lift the mesh plate, clear the sump by hand. Glass, olive pits and label paper live down there.
- Spray arms. Pull them off and rinse the holes. Gritty glasses are almost always blocked arms, not a part.
- Tap and hoses. Tap fully open, inlet hose not kinked, drain hose looped up high before the sink waste or it siphons water back.
- Power reset. Off at the wall for five minutes. Cheap, occasionally miraculous.
If the fault survives all four, it’s a part. Every brand’s code list lives under appliance error codes.
Dishwasher parts by brand
Westinghouse, Simpson, Electrolux, AEG and Dishlex. One family under the skin, so the i-codes read the same: i10 is fill, i20 is drain, i30 is the anti-flood switch in the base. The drain pump is the part that goes; Dishlex owners have their own Dishlex parts guide. Omega, Euro, Technika, Baumatic, Blanco and Venini. One platform, mostly shared parts: the 4-lug drain pump, the inlet valve and the sump element. Esatto, Solt, Stirling and Bellini. Sold through the big retailers. Esatto uses the 4-lug pump: the Esatto 4-Lug Dishwasher Water Drain Pump PR60DW4S PR60DW6LS PR60DW6WH for the PR60 series, a second Esatto 4-Lug Dishwasher Water Drain Pump for others; the model number decides. Bellini’s weak spot is the tap-end box on the Bellini Dishwasher AQUASTOP WATER INLET HOSE. Solt and Stirling: send the model number and we’ll say what we hold.
De’Longhi. Two parts do most of the work on the DEDW645 and DEDW650 series: the aquastop hose in the table, and the DE’LONGHI DISHWASHER DOOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY DEDW645S DEDW645SI DEDW645W DEDW650S when the door closes but nothing starts.
Beko. Cold, wet dishes on a DFN or DSFN model point to the heating element in the table. Check continuity first.
Samsung. The DW60M6055 series has a door lock switch that wears. The Samsung dishwasher error codes guide covers the rest.
LG. Two codes cover most calls: OE, not draining and IE, not filling, with the full LG dishwasher error code list alongside. LG stock moves, so send the model number for a yes or no.
Fisher & Paykel. Two very different machines. The DW60 freestanding and built-under series takes a single Fisher Paykel Dishwasher Inlet Valve DW60CHPW1, DW60CHPX1, DW60CKW1; the DishDrawer takes the double valve in the table. F1 with beeping is the flood switch: read the DishDrawer F1 flood fix first, because the leak is the fault, not the switch.
Hisense. Start with the Hisense dishwasher error codes guide. Stock is patchy, so send the model number.
Bosch and Miele. Honest answer: our Bosch and Miele dishwasher stock is thin, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Send the E-Nr (Bosch) or model number (Miele) through the contact page for a plain yes or no before you spend anything.
Where the model sticker is and how to match it
Open the door fully and look at the door edge, left or right, or along the top rim of the tub opening: a white or silver sticker with a barcode. On a DishDrawer, pull the drawer right out and check the inside of the drawer front.
Read the whole code:
- Westinghouse, Simpson, Electrolux, AEG, Dishlex: the model plus the nine-digit PNC, which separates two machines that share a model name.
- Bosch: the E-Nr, including the /01 or /02 index after the slash.
- Samsung: the full code ending in /SA.
- Fisher & Paykel: the trailing letters and digit, so DW60CHPW1 rather than DW60, and the full DD60 code on a DishDrawer.
- Omega, Technika, Euro, Esatto and the retailer brands: the model exactly as printed, dashes included.

DIY or repairer?
Most parts in the table sit in the $25–70 band. A repairer’s call-out and diagnosis typically runs $100–165 before parts, so a drain pump or inlet valve you fit yourself saves real money. A heating element is the same band but needs the machine out and on its back, which is where many people ring someone.
First: switch off at the wall, pull the plug (usually in the cupboard beside the machine) and turn off the tap. If the dishwasher is hard-wired with no plug, isolate at the switchboard as well; in most Australian states hard-wired electrical work must be done by a licensed person. Know the right part, then decide who fits it.
Stop and ring a repairer when water has been sitting on the control board or wiring, or when a code points at the control board (fit a board after diagnosis, never on a guess). Never bypass a door interlock to make it run.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Why is there water left in the bottom of my dishwasher after a cycle?
A: A little in the sump is normal. A pool under the rack means a blocked filter or sump, a kinked or low drain hose, or a failed drain pump. Clear the first two, then listen for the pump at the end of a cycle: silent or buzzing means a new pump.
Q: Can I replace just the box at the tap end of an aquastop hose?
A: No. The tap-end valve, double-walled hose and machine-end fitting are one sealed assembly; the whole hose is replaced. Match it to your model number.
Q: Are dishwasher parts interchangeable between brands?
A: Often within a family (Omega, Euro, Technika, Baumatic and Blanco; Westinghouse, Simpson, Dishlex and Electrolux), never across one, and even within a family the model number decides.
Q: Do you stock Bosch and Miele dishwasher parts?
