About This Part
Door seal for Hisense front load washing machines HWFY8514, HWFY9514 and HWFY1014, the 8.5 kg, 9.5 kg and 10 kg machines in the HWFY family. The bellows gasket keeps wash water inside the drum; age, detergent residue and trapped objects all shorten its life.
Leaks appearing at the front of the machine during wash, a musty smell that survives drum-clean cycles, or visible splits in the rubber folds are the standard reasons to fit a new one.
Fits models: HWFY8514, HWFY9514, HWFY1014.
Soaking the seal in warm water before fitting softens the rubber and makes seating it on the flange easier.
The smaller HWFY7514 takes its own seal, listed separately, so check the capacity digits in the model code on the door-frame sticker before ordering. Supplied new.
