Heating element for Fisher & Paykel condenser dryers in the DE8060 and DC8060 series, also catalogued against Haier dryers from the same appliance group and the Euromaid DM4KG. The element generates the drying heat; when it fails, the drum turns and the cycle runs, but the air stays cold and clothes come out damp after a full program. Repeated thermal-cutout trips and a burning smell are the other reasons it gets replaced.
