Fitting it yourself
Before any panel comes off, switch off at the wall, pull the plug and close the tap. Never bypass, tape or force a door interlock — it is what stops the drum turning with the door open. Hard-wired 240 V work and any sealed refrigerant circuit are for a licensed person, and a control board goes in only after the fault has been diagnosed.
- Drain pump — the easiest. Drain it through the filter hose, kick panel off, two clamps and a plug. Clean the filter first — a blockage fails like a dead pump.
- Water level sensor — easy. Top panel off; the sensor sits high on the tub with a thin air hose. Check that hose for a split or kink before condemning the sensor.
- Door hinge — straightforward. Support the glass door, unbolt the hinge from the cabinet and swap it across. The doors are heavier than they look.
- Interlock switch — moderate. Ease the outer lip of the door seal off its spring clamp to reach the screws behind, and photograph the wiring first.
- Door seal — fiddly. Outer clamp off, inner clamp off the tub lip, new rubber on with the drain hole at the bottom. Budget an afternoon and test on a rinse cycle.
- Lip seal and bearings — the big one. Tub out, drum split, bearings driven out: a full day with a puller and a helper, and the one job here worth handing to a repairer.

Where is the model number on a Hisense front loader?

Why is there still water in the drum at the end of a cycle?
Usually the drain path, not the electronics. Clean the filter at the bottom front, check the drain hose is not kinked, then listen for the pump humming without moving water. A silent or rattling pump behind a clear filter points at the drain pump.
My Hisense washer’s door will not unlock. What should I do?
Wait a few minutes — the interlock holds while the drum turns and while hot water is in the tub — then switch off at the wall and try again. If it still will not release, or the machine will not start with the door shut, the interlock switch is the usual cause. Never force or bypass it.
Does a HWFS1015E door seal fit a HWFS1015AB?
No. Both are 10 kg machines, but the seals are listed separately: the HWFS1015E rubber shares a listing with the HWFS8514E, while the HWFS1015AB has its own Series 7 listing and a shared one with the HWFS8014AB and HWFS1214PB. Order the listing naming your sticker code.
Is it worth replacing the bearings on a 10 kg Hisense front loader?
If the machine is otherwise sound and the roar is recent, yes — a lip seal and bearings kit is listed for the HWFS1015E and it saves the washer. It is a strip-down rather than a swap, so have a repairer quote it if you would rather not split the drum.
