Fitting Notes
- Unplug the dryer before you start, and have a second person help with the lift — dryers are heavy and awkward.
- Fix the wall brackets into solid timber studs, or into masonry with wall anchors rated for the load. Plasterboard alone will not hold a loaded dryer.
- Both brackets must be level with each other, or the dryer will sit skewed on the wall.
- Leave enough clearance behind the machine that the vent hose isn’t crushed against the wall.
- Check your dryer’s installation manual for the exact mounting-point spacing before you drill.
