About This Kit
The two parts behind a LG front loader that will not lock, will not start or will not open: the door interlock switch EBF61315810 and the door handle 3650ER2005B. Built for the WD14030D6, WD14030FD6, WD14030RD6, WD14039D6, WD14070D6 and related models — the same two parts we sell separately, packed together and priced $4.95 below buying them individually.

The door hook (latch) on the door and the interlock switch in the cabinet wear against each other every time the door closes — a worn hook stops the interlock engaging, and a tired interlock stops the machine starting even with a good hook. Swapping only one part often leaves the same symptom, and it is a second order and a second delivery when the other fails a month later. Both parts fit from the front with the door open and a couple of screws, so replace the pair in one go.

Fitting Overview
- Unplug the machine. Open the door and undo the two screws holding the old latch hook to the door; fit the new hook.
- Peel back the door seal at the lock side of the front panel, undo the interlock screws and draw the switch out.
- Transfer the wiring plug to the new interlock, refit it, seat the seal back in its groove and test the door locks and the cycle starts.
Unplug the appliance before you start. Many owners fit this themselves with a model-specific video; if you would rather not, any local repairer can fit the parts you supply.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in this LG door lock and latch kit?
Two products packed together: the door interlock switch (EBF61315810) and the door handle (3650ER2005B) — the same items sold separately on this site, at a kit price $44.95 versus $49.90 bought individually.
Which LG washing machines does the kit fit?
It fits the models listed on this page, including WD14030D6, WD14030FD6, WD14030RD6, WD14039D6, WD14070D6, WD1409NPE. Match the model number on your machine's sticker exactly against the list; if your model is not listed, send it through the contact form and we will check both parts for you.
How do I know whether it is the lock or the latch that has failed?
If the door closes but the machine never locks or start (a door error, flashing door light, or a click with no fill), the interlock is the usual culprit. If the door will not stay shut, the handle is floppy or the hook looks worn or bent, the latch side has failed. Because the two wear against each other, replacing both is the reliable fix and this kit covers both.
Is this an easy repair to do at home?
Yes — it is one of the simplest front-loader repairs. The latch hook is two screws on the door edge, and the interlock sits just behind the front panel at the lock side, reached by peeling back the door seal. Allow 20–30 minutes with a screwdriver, and unplug the machine first.
How quickly will the kit ship?
Both parts are in stock in Sydney and ship together: order before 12pm AEST on a business day and it dispatches the same day. Delivery is $10.60 flat rate Australia-wide, typically 2–7 business days.
