About This Part
Door boot gasket for Bosch front-load washers — the rubber ring that seals the drum opening against the door glass. When the boot perishes, splits or grows permanent mould, you’ll see water on the laundry floor mid-cycle, smell musty washing, or find black marks on clean loads. A new seal restores the watertight ring and stops the damage spreading to floors and cabinets.
This is the seal Bosch sold as 00680768 and renumbered 00772658 — Bosch’s service channel now lists it as 20007273 at $89.36 (checked August 2026). Ours is $43.00.
Replacing it is a realistic DIY job for most owners: roughly 45–60 unhurried minutes with basic hand tools, no service callout needed. Power off, ease off the outer retaining spring and the inner clamp, seat the new boot with its locating mark at the top, and work the springs back in evenly.

Avantixx WAP-series, WAS24460AU, WAS28461AU and WAS28464AU machines use the different, larger 00682843 gasket — if your E-Nr is one of those, contact us before ordering.
